Brew! Brew! Brew! Brew! It's FeBREWary!
Tra·di·tion
an inherited, established, or customary pattern of thought, action, or behavior (as a religious practice or a social custom)
It's time for all to gather and partake in OUR tradition. The gathering for a purpose that all can agree is one of good cheer. As this is the 3rd year Cave76 will invite one and all to join us at Deja-Brew in Shrewsbury, MA for our annual
FeBREWary Brewfest.
In past years we've brewed a creamy stout, a robust red, an ultra-rich honey brew and an exceptionally tasty pilsner. The brewing didn't stop with beers and ales however. The Cave76 ladies have gone there own way producing a few of the finely fermented fruit wines offered by the brewhouse.
This year should be no different! So sign up now for this coming weekend's FeBREWary Brewfest 2008 while there's still room and take home for yourself some of the finest beverages you'll ever help to create!

Cave76 4x4 goes Country! Country Diner that is...
When Joe Ravalese, owner of The Country Diner in Enfield CT, made the decision to go tabletop advertising it was a no-brainer...Cave76 wanted in!
The Country Diner was founded January 8, 1996 by owner Joe Ravalese and a fellow police officer. The eating establishment soon was nicknamed "the cop shop," because both owners at the time were Enfield, Connecticut police officers.
Joe has since retired from the police force but that didn't change the nickname the diner had respectfully earned from the adoring public. The Country Diner proudly displays police patches from all over the world, which decorate most of the walls of the diner. People bring patches to add to the wall from their travels near and far. This collection and the other public service memorabilia really gives The Country Diner a leg up on the other restaurants in the area when it comes to character. As for the food...there's nothing like it around. Homestyle EVERYTHING. Breakfast has it all from the classics to some extremely tasty signature breakfast burritos and lunch boasts some of the best salads in town!

Cave76 4x4 is proud to add it's name to the tables and countertop of The Country Diner restaurant as one of New England's premier 4x4 online communities.
Look for a Cave76 4x4 meet and greet at this location soon!

Cave76 4x4 Paragon Redux!
Once was great but twice is better! Join several of your favorite forum personalities OFF the internet for a weekend of rock-crawlin' and mud-huckin' at the 4x4 hot spot known only as Paragon Adventure Park. The date has been set for July 28th-29th-30th and it's guaranteed to be a blast. Make your reservation today!
How to reserve a spot?
Click the image to the right and post in our forums that you'd like to attend. Give us some information about yourself and you vehicle. Make sure to let us know if you're tenting or trailering at the campground and also be sure to read the below information about the Paragon Adventure Park experience.
We hope to see you there!
Paragon Redux continued...
With over 150 miles of trails, a rain or shine policy and a staff of well-versed 4x4 recreationalists Paragon Adventure park is by far one the east coast's largest offroad attractions.
So what's the whole experience like?
Believe me when we say that if you love the outdoors and you love 4-wheeling that we can't put into words what it's REALLY like to spend the weekend in Hazelton, PA at Paragon Adventure Park. We'll try to give you the best run down we can.
When arriving for the day you'll need to check in. The park office is a trailer located on the hill and there you will sign a waiver, purchase an identification flag and watch an informational safety video about the park rules and regulations. Once you've seen the video it's time to prep for vehicle check-in. Most people will air-down and assemble their party to get in line together. The minimum caravan size is 3 vehicles. We recommend at least 4 however so that if one vehicle becomes completely disabled, then the rest of the people can continue on and still be within the stated 3-rig quota.
A short inspection is next. A staff member will make sure that your vehicle has an accessible fire extinguisher, a full size spare tire, tow points front and rear, a tow strap w/ no metal hooks and that your battery is securely fastened under the hood. After the check point you and your caravan are allowed free reign of the trails within. To help you navigate, the park provides a detailed photocopy of their park map. A color version is available for purchase as well.
The pictures you see in this paragraph are a mere example of the obstacles available. It's the perfect combination of breathtaking scenery and the sport we're all so very fond of.
We here at Cave76 4x4 hope that you'll take every opportunity available to visit Paragon Adventure Park. We'll also do our best to offer you at least a few trips a year planned out right here on our forums.

Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation OHV Trail Use Public Meeting
On Thursday March 9, there wil be a meeting for the public to discuss the details concerning the criteria for evaluating DCR or Other properties for ORV/ATV use in the state of Massachussetts.
What does that mean for us?
It means that we need your support!
While this meeting isn't specifically for the full-size 4x4 community it is for general offroad use and it's important that we show our numbers and our support for other motorized offroad recreationalists.
The meeting will take place at:
Notch Visitors Center
Rte. 116
Amherst, MA
from 7PM to 9PM
We understand this is short notice and will be hoping for the best turn out possible. Please contact ClassicXJ via email or on our forums for information on where people may be gathering just before the meeting.
We've all discussed land use and expressed interest in helping out. Now is your chance.
Here's some reading concerning the plan:

FeBREWary Brew Fest Success!
On February 18th Cave76 4x4 had it's first of what seems to be many ALL AGES Brew Fest Meet & Greets. Several of our regular visitors attended and brewed some fine recipes supplied by Deja-Brew of Shrewsbury Massachussetts. The selections made were both a RED and a STOUT. Yielding just under a count of 132 12oz. bottles of each selection, cavers collaborated and came up with the names for both batches.

Custom labels followed sporting the Cave76 4x4 name and the brew names above. So popular was this event that it's already being hailed as one of our reoccurring "big" events!
Please visit our Photo Album linked in the main menu (right) to see the event's photos and be sure to look for future brew fest dates posted in our Off The Wall forum.
Cave76 4x4 would like to remind the wheeling community that there's a time for beer and a time for the trail. Don't mix the two.
So…When Is Playing In The Mud And On The Rocks Good For Kids?
When it’s the annual “EC4WDA Toys for Tots Run,” that’s when.
Every year before the holidays, groups of 4WD enthusiasts load up their rigs to hit the trails for a day of fun. But in this case, they bring along more than the usual recovery gear, spare parts and fluids. They also bring along toys. As admission to the trail ride, each attendee will bring at least one unwrapped toy. The donations will be given to the Marine Corps’ “Toys for Tots” program and the Marines have been thrilled by their support every year.
This year’s run will be held on Sunday December 4th 2005 and will have at least three trails to choose from in Massachusetts and Connecticut. The trails offer a little something for everyone from mild to wild and will be a great time for everyone. Best of all, it will make some children’s holidays a little bit brighter.
Last year was one of the biggest turnouts ever when more than sixty rigs showed up for this great event. With more trails being offered this time around, it could be even bigger. There will even be a Marine representative along for the ride.
Over the 57 years of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s “Toys for Tots” program, they have distributed more than 332.5 million toys to over 158.7 million needy children. This charitable endeavor has made U.S. Marines the undisputed champions of Christmas cheer in the lives of underprivileged kids. Over its 14-year lifespan, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has supplemented local toy collections with more than 55.5 million toys valued at more than $284 million; plus has provided support promotion materials valued at over $3.2 million. For more information on the “Toys for Tots” program please visit the Marine Toys for Tots Home
This event is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of club affiliation, if any. You must simply meet the minimum safety requirements, including but not limited to: seat belts /car seats for each passenger, battery tie downs (no bungees), solid front and rear tow points, tow straps (without metal hooks), and full size spare tire (31 inch spare with 33's etc. would be acceptable). Onboard air, spare parts, and tools as required. Food and drinks are also recommended. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages will be permitted.
If you are interested in being a part of helping to brighten the lives of less fortunate children by wheeling for the day, or would like to donate an unwrapped toy to the Marines’ “Toys for Tots” program please email:
